Quijotes

Hello Ultimate fans! We are Quijotes, a team from Madrid, Spain, named after the main character of the novel by Cervantes. During his journey across the central region of Spain, Don Quijote runs into many adventures. In a particular one, he encounters - you guessed it - windmills! Since the time of Don Quijote, during the last 400 years, a lot of things have changed and most importantly, Ultimate Frisbee was invented! To play the game, the Quijotes team was founded 23 years ago and has since grown to count over 65 active club members today and we are not stopping here, we are always working to grow the club! Thanks to this strong base we develop and train our Open team, focused on competing in grass tournaments. Some of our latest results include 3rd at the Open Spanish Nationals, 2nd at Rising High in Delft and 5th at the MUIC (Madrid Ultimate International Cup) in 2021, where we just lost out against Clapham and Los Otros and we beat strong teams such as Ranelagh, Fryzstyle and Fire of London. We are confident we can bring a high level of ultimate to Windmill in 2023!
